Netball Champions!

Well done to our year 6 netballers. Not only have they finished top of their group in the Maidstone Netball league, so they will have a semi-final to play soon, but they also won the Maidstone Year 6 Netball tournament last week!

They all played very well, despite being freezing and wet. In our group they beat Loose 2-1, Brunswick 2-0, Oaks 7-0 and Barming 7-0. We then played Loose again in the Quarter finals, beating them 4-1, we beat Roseacre 4-2 in the semis and played amazingly well to beat Greenfields in the final 3-2. Well done to Jessica, Harmony, Henry, Ava, Oliver, Aidan, Cody, Jovan, Amelia and Ama for showing great resilience in the pouring rain.

It was a pleasure to take the team and see their great team work. A big thank you to Mrs Seymour, Mrs Baldwin and Mrs Ponton for giving up their own time to train the children after school, and thank you to the parents that were able to get the children over to Cornwallis.
