Competition Winner

Congratulations to Leila who entered the Maidstone Heritage Art Competition and won!

Leila was very excited (and a bit shy!) to meet the Mayor of Maidstone. Leila and her family were invited into the Mayor's Parlour in the Town Hall where Leila enjoyed squash and biscuits.

He was very impressed with Leila's artwork and encouraged her to continue her passion for clay! He really liked her choice of building and told Leila that Maidstone has the most listed buildings in all of Kent (including Canterbury!).

Leila had a great time and was very pleased with her certificate and £25 Hobbycraft voucher.
