Times Table Challenge

On Tuesday 16 January, East Borough held a Times Tables Challenge for some Year 4 pupils from schools across VIAT.

During this, the children were set a range of challenges which tested their knowledge and flexibility with times tables. All the children enjoyed the experience (particularly the biscuits and squash!) and demonstrated good collaborative skills and resilience.

Times tables knowledge is an essential tool that allows children to be successful within the maths curriculum at primary school and beyond; it was a fantastic opportunity to promote that to children from across VIAT.
