VIAT Benchball Competition

We were lucky enough to take two teams of 10 children to the VIAT Benchball competition, held at SST this week. The children have been practising their benchball skills at lunchtime this term and it was clear they have been working on their defence and throwing skills. It was brilliant to watch the teams working together and supporting each other. This even showed when our East Borough A and B teams had to play each other! At the end of the afternoon, our East Borough A team placed 2nd place, and our East Borough B team placed 4th – but most importantly the pupils were buzzing with excitement and adrenalin after an energetic 5 matches! Well done to all involved!
